Home Delivery Service is a Stanislaus County Library program designed to fulfill a need for individuals who are unable to visit the library due to advanced age, disabling illness, or physical disability. Responsibilities include:
- Select and check-out materials for home borrowers
- Deliver and return library materials in a timely manner
- Establish a mutually convenient schedule for book delivery, at least once a month
- Maintain a regular contact with Library Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Automobile Insurance
- Ability to lift and carry book bags up to 15 pounds
- Ability to relate well to older and infirm people
- An interest in books and reading
