The mission of Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters is to provide children facing adversity, of all beliefs and backgrounds, with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our Vision is that all children achieve success in life. We partner with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program achieving: Higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships Avoidance of risky behaviors Educational success

Big Brothers and Big Sisters come from all walks of life and of all ages. We honor parental, youth, and volunteer choice relating to age, race, and special interests when pairing a Big and a Little as well as geographic proximity. We ask Bigs to meet Littles twice per month for 2 - 4 hours per outing; engaging in a variety of activities that meet their shared interests. Volunteers usually pick the child up at his or her home and bring him or her back at the end of their outing or meet during the week at the child's school.
