Cat rescue needs RETIRED GRANT WRITERS / FUNDRAISING volunteers!

Our cat rescue, OC Small Paws, has had a very hard year and a half since January 2017. Between kitten season lasting through FIVE seasons and rescuing several VERY sick kittens at the end of last year our medical bills have skyrocketed. On top of this, the funding we had been receiving from the Petco Foundation has dropped to 50% of that given to the adoption partners in recent years (changes in the Foundation).

We are in desperate need of grant writers or volunteers with experience in fundraising at this time. We are an all-volunteer rescue and many of us have demanding, full-time jobs. What we know are CATS; when it comes to grant-writing and fundraising, we are the first to admit that we need HELP! Any amount of time you have to give would be appreciated. Every dime we raise goes straight to paying our medical bills (most if not all other costs are usually covered by kennel managers and other volunteers with big hearts!)
