Americas for Conservation + the Arts (AFC+A) is an environmental non- profit organization advancing cultural and ecological resilience, leveraging the arts for conservation gains. Americas for Conservation + the Arts (AFC+A) and its two central initiatives: The Americas Latino Eco-Festival (ALEF) and Mandel Vilar Press (MVPress) were established in Colorado out of a frustration and a hope. ​​​

Each year AFCA hosts the Americas Latino Eco-Festival (ALEF) in Denver, Co. Now in its 6th year, ALEF is the largest multicultural environmental annual event of its kind leveraging Latino leadership for conservation gains. ALEF advocates for an integrated local and national conservation agenda. The 2018 Americas Latino Eco Festival (ALEF) will be held September 27th through September 30th. Mandel Vilar Press (MVP) the nonprofit publishing arm of Americas for Conservation + the Arts is one of only a handful of publishers dedicated to connecting the literature of the Americas. We unite the works of the best writers of Central and South America with the leading ethnic and minority writers of North America. MVP publishes the best books and translations on the environment, conservation, culture, history, memoir, fiction, science, and politics. Publishing between four to eight titles in fiction and nonfiction each year, MVP focuses on works that are extraordinary and influential - destined to become the classics of tomorrow.

AFCA is looking for a Social Media Coordinator who will work with our Founder and Communications Director to create, share and distribute our efforts, successes and incredible volunteer work through social media. As the Social Media Coordinator you will enjoy consider freedom to chart our course and advance our cause around the world.
