It's a big, busy, fun auction to raise money for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. With lots to do:

  • parking attendants
  • bussers
  • cabana servers
  • bartenders
  • bid spotters
  • check-out
  • and more!
If you enjoy volunteering for outdoor events (and especially if you have auction experience), we'd love to have your help. Tasks include customer service, light lifting, organizing, collaborating with other volunteers & staff, lots of movement and walking.

The auction benefits a private, non-profit animal shelter that rescues and re-homes thousands of animals each year. We're looking for reliable, committed volunteers to help.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington enriches the lives of people, pets and our community through adoption and outreach, and serves as a resource for companion animal services and education.

Description

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is dedicated to fostering a community where all creatures are treated with compassion and respect.

Founded in 1897, the Humane Society has a long tradition of caring for the animals of southwest Washington and surrounding areas. By working in collaboration with local veterinarians and animal rescue groups, the Humane Society and its partners in animal welfare look forward to a future where all companion animals will live in a loving home.

Through the work of our full-time and part-time staff, along with the assistance of more than 500 compassionate volunteers, the Humane Society for Southwest Washington offers an array of humane programs, including pet adoptions, community education, pet behavior advice, spay/neuter assistance and low-cost pet adoptions for seniors.

Through the generous support of local individuals, groups, and corporations, we are able to care for the thousands of orphaned animals we receive each year.
