MARYWOOD IS AN INDEPENDENT LIVING COMMUNITY FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AGE(s) 62 AND UP, IN ADDITION TO THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP UNLOAD THE CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOODBANK DELIVERY TRUCK AND TO BAG GROCERY ITEMS FOR OUR RESIDENTS!!
**DELIVERIES ARE HELD ON A BI-MONTHLY BASIS (2ND TUESDAYS OF THE MONTH )**
- MOBILE PANTRY DELIVERY DATES: JULY 12, 2016, SEPT. 13, 2016, NOV. 8, 2016, JAN. 10, 2017, MARCH 14, 2017, MAY 9, 2017, JULY 11, 2017
- VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11:30 AM-2:00 PM
- VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY MAY BE FAST PACED AT TIMES TO ENSURE BAGS ARE PACKED IN TIME FOR DISTRIBUTION AT 1:00 PM.
- WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DONATE OR GIVE AWAY ANY ITEMS RECEIVED
- TEAMS OF 5 OR MORE ENCOURAGED (18 YEARS & OLDER)
