Come help us at the Locust Grove Nature Center on these two separate days to show our visitors everything there is to know about apple cider; apple varieties; and apple history!
We will be offering samples of lesser-known apple types, and let our visitors try their hand at pressing cider!

Volunteers will help with:
Setting up the event
Helping with apple pressing and tastings
Helping with cleanup after it's over
Dress to be outdoors and in family friendly clothing!

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
