Volunteer over the phone and support survivors of sexual assault!
ZCenter is looking for volunteers to support individuals who call into our 24/7 Support Line.
Support Line Advocates offer emotional support and resources to callers over our Support Line. We receive calls from professionals, survivors of sexual assault, and significant others of survivors who are looking for support and information. Focusing on healthy coping skills, education, and providing resources, Support Line Advocates provide crisis intervention, resources, and support to individuals who reach out to us over the phone.
Our Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Training will equip you with the tools and resources you need for this opportunity. We offer four trainings throughout the year. Our training covers:
Our training is interactive and includes role plays and various presentations from professionals within the agency and in the community. You will also interact with current volunteers through our panel, where they share their volunteer experience and answer questions you may have.
