We are looking for volunteers that can offer basic computer education to our residents. Maybe 3-4 short classes over a 3-4 month period or whatever works best for you. This could be ongoing as some may be interested in more education.
We are also looking for volunteers that can offer exercise education classes. Chair exercises, easy yoga, walking, dance, etc. We have a WII with several games but can't seem to get the residents interested in enjoying the system. Any times and dates would be appreciated. This could also be ongoing and we can always change things up and try something new.
Dates and times are unlimited. Staff works Monday through Friday 8-4 but we can set something up in the evenings or weekends as well.

Description
Graceworks Lutheran Services offers affordable housing in KY, OH and IN through Graceworks Housing Services. Some housing is for those 62 and over, some for 62 and over and/or mobility impaired, and some for hearing impaired. We offer well maintained apartments with appliances and carpet, wheelchair accessible apartments, close proximity to shopping, pharmacies, doctors and other services, common areas for social, recreational and craft activities, maintenance technician's are on call 24 hours for emergencies, access to public transportation, and most properties have an on site Service Coordinator that will help residents obtain services they may need and provide health and education to help them remain in their apartments for as long as possible. Lutheran Community is located in Lawrenceburg, IN off Route 48 just past the Dearborn County Hospital. We offer free WI-FI and a community computer plus exercise equipment.
