Nomi Network is looking for volunteers who want to see modern-day slavery end! Nomi Network leverages the fashion industry to implement product design, development and marketing strategies for slave-free products. Nomi provides direct training to survivors and women at risk of human trafficking and also manufactures products with our signature label, "Buy Her Bag, Not Her Body " to raise awareness about this global humanitarian issue. Proceeds from the sale of these bags are invested back into our training, capacity building and market access programs.
We are looking for volunteers who can represent Nomi's mission and sell products at our Union Square and Columbus Circle Holiday Marketplace booth. The marketplace is open from 10am to 7pm during the week and until 8pm on the weekend. We are looking to fill 3-5 hour shifts.
If you are a passionate about ending human trafficking and you have an outgoing, warm personality, this opportunity is for you!
Training sessions will be available prior to commiting to a shift at the Holiday Market.
