ReTails Thrift Store receives donated Christmas items year-round, then sets up a Christmas store each November & December, raising money to care for animals at the Humane Society.
October 15-31, prep weeks, volunteers set up displays, decorate trees, unload boxes of merchandise, stock shelves, and help get the store ready for opening.
In November and December, volunteers keep the store stocked, organized and clean, and assist customers.
If you can, please attend a Christmas volunteer orientation at the store on Thursday, October 27th, 9am.
It's a big job, so we're looking for cheerful, organized, collaborative, outgoing volunteers to help staff the department throughout the holiday season. Volunteers should be self-motivating and able to work with minimal supervision.
ReTails thrift store is a part of and supports the work of the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, which seeks homes for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies throughout Clark County. www.southwesthumane.org.
