Hygiene basics are conditions or practices conducive to maintaining health and preventing disease, especially through cleanliness which is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle both physically and socially.
You can play an important role in maintaining good regimen behaviors at Youth Haven through the following but not limited to:
- Hosting a personal care drive with family, friends, and/or co-workers
- Donating personal care items (e.g. towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.)
- Organizing and labeling laundry room.
- Donating gift cards from personal care stores (e.g. Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.)

Founded in 1972, Youth Haven provides services to more than 2,400 children and family members annually, is fully-accredited by the nationally-recognized Council on Accreditation (COA), a member agency of the United Way of Collier County and Naples Children & Education Foundation beneficiary. Youth Haven has been in continuous operation for more than 40 years.
