Art has proven to be a very therapeutic tool and activity for the children who reside in Youth Haven residential emergency shelters.
You can play a vital role in the life of this program through the following, but not limited to, volunteer activities:
- Hosting an art supply drive with family, friends and/or co-workers.
- Donating art supplies (e.g. paint brushes, paint, canvases, frames, etc.)
- Prepping art projects the children will participate in with our art teacher.
- Donating gift cards from art supply stores such as Michael’s or JoAnn’s Fabrics.
- Donating tickets for children’s movies, museums, shows, etc.

Youth Haven has been in continuous operation for more than 40 years.
