Project CARE is an academic mentoring program that works with students Kindergarten through 5th grade. Mentors volunteer 1 day, 1 hour per week in areas of primarily reading and math. The mentor would work with the same teacher/students each week. The mentor is matched up with a teacher based upon the mentor's availability. No need to worry about making plans for the mentoring session the teacher prepares for the mentor to be in the classroom with specific students. This could include one-on-one, small group or whole class mentoring. The commitment would be for either one semester or the whole school year.

Project CARE Plus is an academic mentoring program that takes place during the school day and works with students in primarily reading and math. Mentors can volunteer a minimum of 1 hour 1 day a week with students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Mentors will be matched with their availability with a teacher whose needs are similar. Each week the mentors will work with the same teacher/students either one-on-one, small groups or whole class for a semester or the whole school year.
