Pet Resource Center's Outreach Program hosts mobile vaccination clinics in surrounding communities. We offer Rabies, DA2PP, FVRCP, microchips, and city licenses at these events. We are in need of 1-2 Vet Techs to assist our clinic veterinarian. Vet Techs must have previous experience, excellent animal handling and restraint skills, the ability to multi-task, to take feedback and direction in a positive manner, must work well under pressure and must be able and willing to accommodate the needs of different animals in high-stress environments. Volunteers in this role must support our agency mission and core values.
This is a very rewarding opportunity to offer services to members of the community who may not otherwise be able to receive preventative pet health services to keep their pets healthy and happy at home with the families who love them. Bilingual volunteers are a plus for this position, but being bilingual is not required.
