Our Community Volunteers are based all across the country, raising awareness and building support in their local communities. They join the search by sharing appeals and signing up others to do the same; they register people to join Child Rescue Alert, a system which could save a childs life; they raise vital funds with collections and local events; they join our campaigning work to influence governance around missing; and they ensure that everyone who needs to contact us knows how. By working in partnership with our Community Volunteers we can reach thousands of people across the country and work together to ensure every missing person is found safe and well.

Description
Missing People is the only charity in the UK which specialises in, and is dedicated to, bringing missing children and adults back together with their families. Some missing people you will have heard of, but many more you won’t. For their families, life without them can be a desperate and unbearable struggle. We are there for them 24 hours a day, every day of the year, at the end of a phone, text or email, ready to use every means possible to search for and find their missing loved ones and to provide vital on-going support to families where the agonising wait turns into years, not just days
