Enriching the lives of our patients and their loved ones is Heartland Hospice's primary mission. We need your help to fulfill the needs of our patients and families by offering your musical gifts, which will provide comfort and relief during their hospice journey.
Your role will focus on uplifting patients/families while playing familiar or requested music with an instrument, your voice or electronic devices (CD player, phone, etc.). An additional goal is the enhancement of patient experiences through reminiscence and companionship opportunities that arise with the use of music.
Our patients and volunteers find these visits to be some of the best moments of their lives. Please help us to continue this rewarding service.
To register or learn more information about our program, please call Heartland Hospice at #240 264-1692 and ask to speak with Volunteer Coordinator, Gordon Creamer. Office hours are 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday.
