Volunteer Program

There is a Volunteer opportunity for everyone. We are located all over Western and Central MA. If your interested in Hospice Volunteering or are interested in our Pet Therapy or our "Pets for Vets" Program please contact us, we would love to hear from you!

Pet Therapy and "Pets to Vets" Volunteer program We are currently seeking Volunteers with Registered Pet Therapy dogs to visit our Hospice Veterans. Hospice Services of Western and Central Massachusetts is currently looking for volunteers to join our dedicated Hospice team. If you’re looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity in a supportive and friendly environment, then this may be the opportunity for you.
Volunteers may assist the patient with companionship, caregiver relief and complementary therapies. The opportunities are endless. We provide all the training needed and additional training in specific areas of interest. Online training now also available

Description

Hospice care is about not giving up....it is about hope for people facing a life-limiting illness -- hope of living their lives free of pain, without fear and in the company of family and friends. The emotional and spiritual support we provide to patients and their families is greatly enhanced by the help of our staff and volunteers. We offer a supportive environment, friendly staff and a rewarding experience. In addition we now offer online training for your convenience.
