LEAD mentors are the supporting component to a character and leadership program that focuses on inner-city, high-poverty middle school students. LEAD's mission is to equip our students with the tools necessary to return to their communities as effective LEADers.

You will be meeting with 1-2 students for 45 minutes every other week with the goal of simply building a positive and inspirational relationship that encourages and promotes a positive mindset for our students.

Description

LEAD is designed to integrate into this critical time of a student’s development as a game-changer in the way belief-systems are turned positive for a group of kids who live with an unconscionable amount of negativity. LEAD bases its guiding principles on three tenets necessary for thriving leadership in our communities; Vision, Empathy, and Tenacity.
