Partners In Care

Partners In Care is Central Oregon’s largest hospice provider, serving over 200 patients per day in their homes or care facilities and also at the new Hospice House in Bend. Over 150 specially trained volunteers provide much-appreciated services for patients and their family caregivers-sometimes with direct patient contact and other times in supportive roles behind the scenes.

Come and join a compassionate and supportive team by contributing your time, unique skills, and unhurried presence as we provide unequaled and collaborative patient-centered care. Partners In Care serves Central Oregon, including Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville, La Pine, Sisters, Camp Sherman, Crescent, Gilchrist, Chemult and Christmas Valley.

All interested volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application, attend Volunteer Orientation, and undergo a background check, drug screening, and TB test. COVID vaccine is required.

The next New Volunteer Orientation will be hosted May 10, 2023 from 8:30am-5pm. Please complete the Partners In Care Volunteer Application. Volunteer department will reach out upon receipt with more information.

Mission Statement

Partners In Care provides patient-centered care that honors the dignity and needs of those we serve. We sustain an organization that enriches the lives of patients, families, team and community.

The hospice philosophy recognizes that end of life is not just a medical event but a personal experience. When a person decides that they no longer want to spend their time seeking aggressive medical treatment, but focus on achieving quality in the time they have left, a team of professionals at Partners In Care work to make that happen. Volunteers become important members of the interdisciplinary team working to provide a more holistic system of care for patients and their families.
