Your Experience Counts!
Support the academic growth of students through this partnership program of HandsOn Greater Phoenix and 5 local school districts.

Do you have a passion for education and a desire to help students succeed? Volunteer in the classroom with Your Experience Counts (YEC)!

YEC is a dynamic academic tutoring program that recruits and trains volunteers to support students in under-resourced schools in Phoenix and Mesa. With help from our district partners, YEC places volunteers in classrooms to work alongside teachers and provide one-on-one or small group support to students (K-3rd grade literacy and 4th-8th grade math/science). High school tutors are also needed during and after-school hours in Mesa.
