Angel Faces is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to handle administrative responsibilities. Data entry, phones, general filing, and other duties as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity/resume enhancer to learn general operating procedures, as well as specific skills, including: planning meetings and special events, and gain experience working with professional staff in an enthusiastic, community-based non-profit Human Services Organization.
Proficient understanding of English grammar and spelling. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to interact effectively, appropriately and compassionately with the public, volunteers and staff. Ability to adapt easily to changing situations and priorities. Deadline and results oriented. Must be proficient in MS Office. Experience with email marketing, social media and CRM software is a plus, ability to multitask efficiently. Interest in the mission and some working knowledge of the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Duration/Starting Date: Immediately. Time Commitment: 10 hrs per week. Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. No phone calls.

Angel Faces provides healing retreats and ongoing support of adolescent girls and young women with burn/trauma injuries to achieve their optimum potential and develop meaningful relationships for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Description
Angel Faces was founded in 2003 to transform the lives of adolescent girls and young women with severe, permanent burn/trauma. The founder, Lesia Cartelli, burned at age nine in a natural gas explosion, envisioned healing and skill-building retreats and aftercare programs that would inspire and nurture a community of girls to reach their optimum potential --to gain self-confidence, overcome the trauma of their injuries, conquer feelings of rejection and isolation, form meaningful friendships, and support each other. Today, Angel Faces is the only organization in the United States designed to help girls and young women with burn/trauma injuries heal and enrich their lives. Angel Faces' programs are designed to encourage, inspire, empower and provide ongoing support. Our programs focus on enhancing self-esteem and social skills, while addressing the emotional and psychological healing process from traumatic injuries within a holistic framework of mind, body, and spirit.
We have retreats for 12 to 18 year old girls and 19 to 29 year old women. We are expanding our retreats in 2017 to include military women who have been disfigured through their service.
