GRID Alternatives is a non-profit solar contractor that installs low to no-cost solar electric systems for low-income qualified homeowners throughout the State of California. Check out our website at www.gridalternatives.org. Click on VOLUNTEER to learn how to get started. All communication and coordination for our volunteers are done via our online "Volunteer Portal" and email. Please note that the location of solar installations will vary throughout Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. No previous construction exeperience needed.
