The 2017 Relay For Life of Chatsworth is taking place on June 10th, 2017 and we need volunteers! The American Cancer Society depends on volunteers like YOU! Without our volunteers, it would not be possible to create a world with more birthdays.
We will need help from 8am on Saturday, June 10th through 10pm. There are a variety of positions to be filled, and you can let us know what hours you are available.
Please email today with your name, hours available and what you like to do when you volunteer. Examples of tasks: register participants, greet/direct people, set up team booths, etc.

Description
Relay For Life is a 24-hour team event to fight cancer and to raise awareness of this disease in our community. At the event, one person from each team will be taking turns walking the track all 24 hours...because cancer never sleeps - so as a community we are doing something about it!
We live for a world where no one would have to hear the words, "you have cancer." More than 75% of the American Cancer Society dollars are dedicated solely to research to support cancer patients and their families. 96% of every dollar goes directly to the cause, only 4% is spent on staff and administration - volunteers are what make this possible! All programs are funded from public contributions. This is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser, with 1 out of every 100 people in the Nation participating in Relay For Life.CAUSE AREAS
