Volunteers needed for registration, door prizes, helping on trail and at finish line, setting and cleaning up, etc.
Volunteers needed for fun activities: face painting, balloon twisting, contests, games, etc. Love to have volunteers with ideas, and activity supplies if possible.
Volunteers also needed to take photos and video and a good writer to write a press release.
Volunteers are needed leading up to the event who are comfortable selling sponsorships, event program pages, and getting prizes.
Volunteers are needed leading up to the event (starting ASAP) to help get the word out about the event: hanging flyers in businesses, posting on facebook, helping at tables in front of stores, selling sponsorships and signs, etc.
Volunteers are needed to make phone calls.
Volunteers are needed to help get more runners.
A couple volunteers are needed to help put together packets a few days before.
This volunteer run non-profit has no paid staff and depends on volunteers generously donating their time and skills.

The mission of this Foundation is to help advance brain research & education towards a better understanding of brain function, that will lead to effective treatments for serious brain diseases & conditions that impact us all, such as Alzheimer's, Pakinson's, pain, addiction, schizophrenia, etc. The Foundation encourages outstanding bright young students to enter this important field of research to carry on this essential work. Description
We raise money through fund-raisers, partnerships and donations to fund our programs: Student Summer Fellowship Program, Training Grants, Travel Grants (to allow young scientists to attend conferences where they can learn from accomplished scientists), Teeacher Recognition program & Speaker's Bureau and our future goal: bridge grants for outstanding labs in need of money to continue the important research.
