The Day Center needs volunteers to spend time with our wonderful participants. We are an important community resource for older adults, and a branch of the senior center, The Commons of Evergreen. We offer outstanding assisted care for older adults each weekday. The Day Center is a leader in community-based care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. We offer on the job training to all our volunteers, no experience is needed! Help support the older adults in your community, helping them participate in our FUN activities, providing a watchful eye over the lunch hour and helping to communicate their needs to us. We also would love to have people help to lead activities.
- Make a difference in 2-3 hours a week! Our current needs are Tuesdays and Fridays from 9-1 and Wednesdays in the afternoons.
If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities to volunteer at the Day Center of Evergreen call or email Amy for a tour.
