Overview of Position: Help keep the office running smoothly by providing general administrative support to TIHAN staff and CarePartners (clients).
Benefits to the Volunteer: A great opportunity to use your organizational skills to help staff and CarePartners and the agency by helping with day-to-day tasks.
Specific Tasks :
- Answer phones and greet visitors.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as filing, copying, mailing and preparing/assembling materials for trainings and other events.
- Conduct web-based searches and collect information.
- Assist in creating flyers for programs and events.
- Write and address birthday and thank you cards.
- Help keep TIHAN office organized.
Time Required : One 4-hour shift per week. Shifts are scheduled during TIHAN’s regular office hours of 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Qualifications/Experience:
Required: Must be 18 years or older. Computer skills, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Attention to detail and ability to closely follow instructions. Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. Friendly and courteous demeanor over the phone. Ability to adhere to TIHAN’s confidentiality policy.
