  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 9 people are interested

There are many facets to the work the volunteers do with us and by giving a little of your time, you will enable someone else to live their last days in a happier, more fulfilling manner. We want to make our patients and their families’ lives easier and more comfortable during this difficult time.

To name a few of the ways our volunteers serve:

  • Clerical Volunteers assist with administrative needs in our office, including filing, data entry, assistance with mailings, making phone calls, etc.

  • Direct Patient Care Volunteers visit our patients in nursing facilities or in their homes, providing companionship, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families. They may provide respite care, sit with patient, and much more.

  • Tuck- In Volunteers call our patients on a regular basis, particularly prior to weekends or holidays, to ensure that they have adequate supplies, in an effort to preclude any emergencies.

  • As Needed Volunteers provide assistance on a one- time basis, as their schedule allows.

  • Community Outreach Volunteers assist with programs related to the community. That may include assisting with our BINGO events, helping recruit new volunteers, etc.

Volunteers can give as little or as much time as their schedule allows. All volunteers receive training and background screening, free of charge.
