The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance seeks help with answering and returning calls for our informational phone line. This opportunity includes helping the community find a support group in their area, directing them to educational information online, and offering other resource numbers to aid in the journey of education and wellness. Volunteer shifts occur Monday through Friday between 8:30AM and 5:00PM for about 3 - 4 hours a day. Some fluency in Spanish is desired but not required. This is a great opportunity for students to gain experience interacting with DBSA stakeholders. Volunteers also can gain valuable knowledge of the challenges of living with a mood disorder by speaking with callers from across the country.
