Moving to a new country comes with many challenges, supporting yourself and family can be one of them. This is your opportunity to relieve some of that uncertainty by helping immigrants and refugees navigate America's job market! Volunteers make 1.5 hour long appointments during office hours (M, T, Th, F 9am-5pm) with FIRN clients to help put together a resume, choose a job field to pursue, conduct online job searches, prepare for an interview, etc.

Volunteers should have some experience in searching for jobs online and resume writing. Volunteers shoud submit a resume along with two professional references. This opportunity is ideal for retired professionals or those who are between jobs themselves. Being bilingual is helpful but not required, just patience and a desire to help your foreign-born neighbors!
