About the Event
Help us make a difference! Malignant pleural mesothelioma is an asbestos-related cancer with few treatment options and even fewer sources of research funding. Join us and walk in solidarity to honor those who have lost the fight against mesothelioma and pay tribute to those who are still fighting. All proceeds will benefit the mesothelioma research programs at both UCLA and the Pacific Mesothelioma Center.
Support the fight against mesothelioma while enjoying a walk/hike with your friends, neighbors, and co-workers! Assisting the community has never been so easy or fun.
Last year we raised $160,000-- help us break the record!
Volunteer Requirements
Duties will range from helping participants register, T-shirts, cheering station, water stations, finish line, help with selling raffle tickets, help with raffle prizes, clean up at the end. We are able to provide students with volunteer hours if they need to fulfill a requirement as well.
