If you love Piedmont Park AND delicious food, please sign up to volunteer for The Party for the Park on Thursday, September 6 th! All proceeds of this event support Piedmont Park Conservancy and helps enhance and preserve Piedmont Park.

Event Details

• Event Length: 6:30 pm - 11 pm
• Event Description: 500+ guests, dozens of restaurants, open bar, silent auction and live music
• Location: Greystone in Piedmont Park
• Age Requirement: 21 and up

Thursday, 9/5 - Event Check In and Way Finding (FULL)

Thursday, 9/6 - Auction Event Volunteers (FULL)

• Volunteer Shift: 4:30 pm - 11 pm
• Description: Event volunteers will greet guests and assist guests with mobile bidding on the silent auction of guests need help using their smart phones or would like to bid using a tablet. Volunteers will assist with break down and silent auction check out at the end of the event.
• Volunteer Dress: Business casual and wear closed toed shoes.
• Requirements: Volunteers should be friendly, comfortable talking with guests, and familiar with ipads/tablets.
• Benefits: Event volunteers will be able to enjoy tastings from Atlanta’s favorite restaurants for free during your breaks.

Friday, 9/6 - Silent Auction Break Down

• Volunteer Shift: 9:30 am - 11 am
• Description: Volunteers will assist with breakdown of the event by moving silent auction items to the Conservancy’s administrative office, bagging up linen, and more.
• Volunteer Dress: Comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes.
• Requirements: Volunteers should be able to lift 20 pounds and be able to lift/carry silent auction items.

Additional Information and Qualifications:

• This volunteer opportunity is NOT open to court ordered volunteers.
• Piedmont Park is accessible by car, bike, Atlanta BeltLine, and MARTA.
• Parking Garage: Parking is available at the parking garage shared by Atlanta Botanical Garden and Piedmont Park. Enter the garage from 1320 Monroe Dr., NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. Park on Level One - the lowest level and enter the park through the wide entrance framed by 2 benches. Greystone is a 3-5 minute walk from the parking garage. The Conservancy does not validate parking for the parking garage.

1. Please email us at volunteer@piedmontpark.org if you would like to volunteer for this event.
2. In your email, please list your name and the assignment that you would like to work.
3. If you represent a group, please include the name of your group and the number of individuals in your group.
