Offer a child valuable companionship and support by providing the young person with one-on-one attention and guidance on a bi-weekly basis. Activities will be in a social environment, either in a home, a restaurant, or other facilities. Qualifications include: be over age 18, commitment of at least one year, enjoy spending quality time with a child (aged 7-17), have reliable/insured transportation, pass criminal check, and attend training sessions.

Jewish Family Service has been serving the community for over 90 years. We are committed to preserving and strengthening family life. Our programs and services are designed to meet the needs of each member of the family, from the very young to the elderly. JFS responds to the challenges before us with the highest degree of professionalism and humanity so that those who need us the most can benefit from our services. Volunteers at Jewish Family Service complement the professional services throughout the community. We take great pride in our volunteers who devote many hours of personal time to providing assistance to our clients, families and staff members.
