Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice!

Memories are treasures and you can help someone keep them! Do you love to scrapbook? You can share your gift with terminally ill patients in your community. We are looking for a few crafty individuals to help hospice patients create Memory Boxes, a keepsake item to celebrate their lives. If you are creative, have a big heart, and are looking to give back, this is the opportunity for you! You can make a big difference in just an hour or two each month. Questions? Requirements: Must be 18 years or older; agree to a background/reference check; and attend an orientation to learn more about the philosophy of hospice and our company, the role of the volunteer and communicating with hospice patients and their families. Travel is required for this volunteer opportunity, so volunteers must have some form of reliable transportation.
