Make a real difference in someone's life!

Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

One of the services we offer to families at the end of their loved one’s life, is to facilitate the recording of the patient’s life story. The volunteer helps by recording the patient as he or she tells his life story. The volunteer may help by prompting with questions. This is a way for individuals to renew, relive and relate their memories, and it makes a beautiful keepsake for families.

If you enjoy storytelling, history, and sharing life, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends.
