Volunteer at the 2019 Dinosaur Ball!

What: The Dinosaur Ball is the Museum’s biggest fundraiser. There will be a banquet and live entertainment as well as a silent auction, raffles, and items sold to benefit different departments of the Museum.

When: Saturday, October 19, 2019; 8:00am-12:00am

Where: Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa - 11011 W Charleston Blvd.

Shifts: 8:00am - 11:00am / 1:00pm -4:00pm / 5:00pm -10:00pm / 10:00pm - 12:00am (shift times are flexible)

8:00am - 11:00am We need volunteers to help unload décor and silent auction packages from a moving truck. Depending on the amount of volunteers, the shift time could be shorter.

1:00pm - 4:00pm We need assistance with setting up the ballroom. Placing table covers, centerpieces, table gifts, programs, etc.

5:00pm - 10:00pm (volunteers must be 21 years old or older) We need assistance with selling raffle tickets and other fundraising items, collecting pledges, assisting with the silent auctions distribution set up, and helping with the silent auction distribution.

10:00pm - 12:00pm We need help with event tear down and loading a moving truck with décor items.

Dress-code: 8:00am - 4:00pm: Comfortable clothing like jeans, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes. You will be lifting and moving around a lot.

5:00pm - 10:00pm (gala event): Black pants and a white or black shirt (no t-shirts or jeans); comfortable shoes you can move in (no tennis shoes). Cocktail attire is acceptable as well. We do ask no high heel shoes because you will be standing.
