We are hoping local makers will be able to share their skills to help the maker community in Missoula grow through volunteering to teach classes.
Do you have a skill you would like to teach? It can be anything from knowledge of electronics or computer programming, to proficiency with a sewing machine or paint brush. If you make something, we want your help! Come share your expertise with the library’s Makerspace community.

The MakerSpace is a place for everyone to create anything imaginable. Let's turn our imaginations into reality! A Makerspace is a place to go to get the training, tools, and camaraderie to start turning ideas into physical things. Basically, we make stuff in the spaceWe have electronics such as the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms. 3D scanning and printing on a Makerbot Replicator 2 is available. Sewing and scrap-booking machines are available to those who wish to dabble in the more artistic endeavors. For the safety of the users and the equipment, students will first be taught to use the equipment.
