Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
One of our most rewarding positions! Volunteers looking for an opportunity to help others should look no further! Our friendly volunteer valets do more than park our patients cars. With a bounce in their step, a smile on their face, and a wheelchair in their hands they greet people pulling up to the valet station ready to help them get into the building safely. Our "regulars" look forward to seeing their favorite valet when they come to the building, making for a win win situation for both the volunteer and patient.
Help us fulfill our desire to enhance patient experience by becoming a volunteer valet. This position is critical in providing great customer service to all who enter our building. Fairview Lakes Medical Center provides complimentary valet service for patients and visitors Monday - Friday 8am-4pm. A typical volunteer shift is 4 hours once a week. These are immediate openings, please call Katie at 651-982-7775 if you are able to help us.
