Large Food Drop Worker

We are lucky enough to be paired with St. Louis Area Foodbank and with that pairing, we have been given the opportunity to receive Large Retail Food Drops. With this drop comes multiple pallets of much needed food delivered right to our backdoor.

During the Food Drops, we ask that volunteers work with a partner to sort through different pallets of items to determine where they need to be distributed throughout the store. We have people working in every part of the store as well as multiple volunteers working in the back room. Food must be sorted and put away accordingly. The Shift Manager for the Food Drop will be your go to person with any questions about items and where more help might be needed.

These food drops are on EVERY Monday and Friday from 12-3 pm. We could use help getting the food off the truck and into the Food Pantry in its proper places. These drops are good for Volunteer Groups and generally run better if we have at least 10 volunteers for each day.
