Summer 2014

Volunteers are needed in St. Francis Community Services' afterschool youth program working with children of immigrant families, with a special focus on Latino and Vietnamese children. The program includes tutoring in reading, homework help, art projects, and physical activities. Volunteers are expected to model positive behaviors and help facilitate the scheduled activities. Volunteers may choose a weekday when they can consistently attend during afterschool programming from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday from mid-September through mid-December and/or mid-January through mid-May. Volunteers that need to arrive later than 4:30 pm but still want to help can plug in, too. Contact us for more information!
