The Ronald McDonald House Charities Bangor House is a "home away from home" for families whose children are hospitalized or receiving treatment locally. RMHC offers a warm, safe place for families to stay with all the accommodations of home. Guest families have their own private rooms and enjoy shared living spaces such as the living room, kitchen, laundry room, library and playground.

RMHC is seeking compassionate individuals to help keep our house running strong! Volunteers assist with answering phones and covering the front desk, checking new families into the house, and being a resource and support for families. Volunteers support our guest families by offering a listening ear and words of encouragement. Volunteers assist with day-to-day operations based on daily needs and volunteer preferences. Daily tasks may include cleaning, organizing and restocking common areas throughout the House, and cleaning rooms after families check out of the house.

If you're interested in helping to keep families close while their child receives treatment, we would love to hear from you!
