The Ronald McDonald House in Bangor is a home away from home for families whose children are hospitalized or receiving treatment locally. RMH offers a warm, safe place for families to stay with all the accommodations of home. Guest families have access to private rooms, shared bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen, laundry room, library and playground.

RMH is seeking compassionate individuals, families, or pairs of volunteers to help keep this "Home Away From Home" running strong. Volunteers assist with answering phones and covering the front desk, checking new families in to the house, and being a resource for families with questions. Volunteers help support our guest families by offering a listening ear and words of encouragement.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
