Guest Chef Volunteers provide a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Bangor. Your efforts will alleviate stress for families who have been at the hospital all day, as they will not have to plan, purchase, or prepare dinner for their family. Volunteer do not have to be professional chefs. This is a great opportunity for home cooks, groups of coworkers looking for a team building activity, organizations, and families. Please note, group size is limited to 5 participants.
This program is flexible, allowing volunteers to cook a meal once, as a regular occurrence, or as desired. The Ronald McDonald House is open 365 days a year and is looking for volunteers to help cook for our families each night of the week including weekends and holidays. Volunteers may also sign up to cook breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.
