Enjoy working with children? Would you like to facilitate their growth? We are looking for assistance with childcare M-F 6:30pm- 8:30pm starting August 24, 2015.
Our community center, Centro Autónomo, holds ESL and Adult High School classes in the evenings, and we provide childcare free of cost to these families who are here to learn. Currently, we are looking for 3-4 volunteers to help with childcare, with the option of facilitating short developmental lessons with the children around art, science, gardening, and music. As a volunteer you would be able to participate in either one day or five days a week. We just ask that the days you sign up for are consistent each week.
Spanish is a plus but not required. The average attendance is between 4-10 children.
