Local non-profit in Connellsville, PA is looking searching for volunteers for numerous positions!
Care & Share Boutique: Mon-Thur 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Help keep up our lovely boutique by checking out customers, sorting, receive donations, and test electronics. Fun and easy going environment.
Cleaning Support: You organized and like to clean? Come help non-profit organizations keep up with their busy work by assisting with dusting, cleaning food pantries, and organize/utilize spaces.
Truck Driver: As a volunteer truck driver you can witness the gift of giving each time you drive by picking up donations from homes and businesses., pick up food orders, and load/unload.
Food Pantry Support: Help provide food assistance to allow families to focus on getting back on their feet rather than where their next meal will come from. Also other locations throughout Fayette County, PA.

Fayette County Community Action, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 1966 as a community-based, multi-serviced agency
Our promise to the community states that "Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other." We operate over 60 projects and programs to address emergency needs such as food and shelter for the underserved, unemployed and homeless as well as focusing on long term needs which empower and equip individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency.
While you do not need to be a part of this program to volunteer with us, one program we operate, our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a volunteer referral and outreach program designed to develop meaningful opportunities for people ages 55 and older to participate fully in their community and help meet critical community needs.
