About

Children in our Program improve on average between half to a full grade level per semester.

Volunteers act as one-on-one tutors for children in grades 1-5. You will be reading with a child and helping them with basic math.
Our curriculum focuses on math, reading and language arts. All lessons, worksheets, learning games and materials are prepared by staff and ready for the volunteer tutor and student to work on together. Our FREE programs are designed to break through the barriers to education that many residents in our area face.

The Children's After-School Program runs from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (Tutors can arrive around 4pm if needed.)

We will work with your schedule. You can volunteer as little or as often as you like. Volunteer once, once a month, once a week or more often.

We continually accept volunteers. All experience levels welcome, we will provide orientation/training.
Volunteer to help us provide FREE basic skill-building and academic enhancement to at-risk children.
