About

Children in our Program improve on average between half to a full grade level per semester.

Volunteer to help us provide FREE basic skill-building and academic enhancement to at-risk children. Volunteers act as one-on-one tutors for children in grades 1-5. Our curriculum focuses on math, reading and language arts. All lessons, worksheets, learning games and materials are prepared by staff and ready for the volunteer tutor and student to work on together. Our programs are designed to break through the barriers to education that many residents in our area face.

The After-School Program runs from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The children come twice a week Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs.

We will work with your schedule, you do not need to commit to the whole semester.

We continually accept volunteers. All experience levels welcome, we will provide orientation/training.
