Homestead Hospice, a local hospice provider serving 17 counties in the Middle GA area, is looking for volunteers to help our patients and their families! Volunteers are primarily needed for patient companionship and caregiver relief. We are looking for someone to visit with homebound patients for companionship. We love for volunteers to incorporate any special talents that they may have (crafts, singing, crocheting, reading, card making, etc)! We LOVE any fun ideas that volunteers may recommend!
We try our best to bring light into our patients' lives by doing meaningful things to help! We like to celebrate holidays and birthdays with our patients. If you are interested in helping our patients and their families, please contact Homestead Hospice at 478-971-1099 or via email.
If you are a military Veteran, we pair Veteran volunteers with our Veteran patients for companionship.
