The Community Food Connection is poised to grow and seeks an individual(s) who has experience in marketing and fundraising. This individual would also assist with researching and writing grants for the following needs of the Food Pantry:

  1. Support for facility improvements
  2. Support for purchasing additional food from San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego.
  3. Support for finding funding to purchase refridgerators, shelving, food transportation carts, cleaning equipment and more.
  4. Support for Marketing and advertising to increase awareness of our services: design and printing, advertising, etc.

Description

Welcome to The Community Food Connection where we bring food to 3,000 families each year in Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos, and surrounding communities. We provide produce, bread, canned goods, dried goods, and meat through our partnership with the San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Dego. Our organization has no paid staff and is successful through the dedicated efforts of 300 volunteers!
