Everything is donated!

We're looking for happy, smiling, customer service oriented individuals to join our team at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop/Pleasanton. This individual will assist customers in selecting merchandise, help to stage and organize the sales floor, as well as perform cash register duties. Not only is this a fun, rewarding opportunity, you will make new friends and benefit your local community as well as the American Cancer Society along the way!

Note! This is a permanent volunteer position. If you are a student or looking for community service hours, please come sign up on the community service calendar in the clothing store @ 1989 Santa Rita Rd. Suite E. Pleasanton, anytime Monday through Saturday 10-5.

We have specific needs for a volunteer cashier:
Clothing store:
Tuesday: 2-5
Thursday: 2-5
Friday: 10am-2 pm
Saturday: 1-5

Mission Statement

We raise money for the American Cancer Society. Our shops’ proceeds further our ability to save lives from cancer by helping people stay well, helping people get well, funding cancer research, and encouraging federal and state lawmakers to fight cancer. We also help in our community by giving cancer patients rides to chemotherapy appointments, and donating free wigs to cancer patients.
