Looking for Passionate and Dedicated people to coach youth basketball and cheerleading ages 4-12 for our FALL season 2016.
No prior experience necessary! All our coaches are volunteers. Coaches should be interested in the sport, have enthusiasm, be organized, responsible and able to be a leader and set good examples for the kids. Practices are held once during the week either Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings at 6pm, 7pm or 8pm for 1 hour on 1/2 of a basektball court for basketball coaches or in a classroom or outside for cheer coaches. Practices are on Saturdays for 1 hour bewteen 9:30am-5:30pm until games start. Season is composed of 7 games with a playoff. All head coaches receive a coaches shirt and lots of praise from staff and parents!
MANDATORY training will be held on Saturday, October 8th from 9am-3pm. Lunch is included in the training! All volunteers must pass a manditory background check.

Description
Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center has a double gym with a walking track, a large community room, classrooms, dance room, game room and offices. We have 5 multipurpose fields, a walking trail, tenns courts, playground, pavilions and outdoor basketball courts. We run a Fall/Winter and Spring basketball and cheerleading programs serving kids ages 4-17. Other programs include karate, dance fitness, ballet, spanish, art and yoga classes, summer camps and special events inlcuding Daddy/Daughter Dance, Spring Fling, Punt/Pass/Kick, Halloween Haunted Festival, Reindeer Games and Pet Pics with Santa.
