The American Cancer Society is the largest non-government funder of cancer research in the United States. When you volunteer with us you will make a difference in the battle against cancer.
In the Walnut Creek Shop we need Pricers and Sorters for our donations which are received 7 days a week and include clothing, accessories, jewelry, furniture, artwork, antiques, collectibles, and household items. A general knowledge of current clothing and/or homeware styles and prices is helpful but not essential. Training and orientation provided.
We are looking for focused, proactive volunteers to help us run our resale store (thrift shop). A commitment of a minimum 8 hours a month (two 4 hours shifts or one 8 hour day) for at least one year is requested, but not required. We have a real need for volunteers that can work one full day a week.
We also need help with Donation Procurement, Volunteer Recruitment, Creative Marketing and Special Events. Merchadiser Needed!

You can donate or shop for quality merchandise in our Walnut Creek store located at 1538 Locust Street, between Bonanza & Civic, and half a block from the Dean Lesher Regional Center For the Arts. Monday-Friday 10-6:00 PM, Saturday 10-5:00 PM, Sunday 10-4:00 PM.

Volunteers are always needed for a variety of meaningful opportunities like working in the store, providing customer service, receiving inventory, and other duties.
